Scorpions - Lovedrive (50th Anniversary Deluxe Version) - CD + DVD
In 2015, the Scorpions celebrated their 50th anniversary. On the occasion of their band birthday, they have therefore come up with something very special for their fans: the "50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition". In this edition, the Scorpions are re-releasing a series of different studio and live albums. For this, the band has also pulled numerous previously unreleased tracks, including rare live recordings, alternative versions of their songs and rough mixes from their archives.
Thus, "Lovedrive", the sixth studio album of the Scorpions, is also released in a remastered birthday version with two bonus tracks selected by the band itself and an additional DVD.
On it are live recordings from their second tour of Japan as well as an interview with the band in which they talk about the making of the album, which was released in its original version back in 1979.
"Lovedrive" is the first Scorpions record they recorded with guitarist Matthias Jabs, who is still a permanent part of the band as lead guitarist.
In addition to the set of CD and DVD, the album is also released on LP with accompanying CD.
