ASIA ist eine englische Rockband, die 1981 in London gegründet wurde und ihr 40-jähriges Bestehen gefeiert hat. Ihr 1982 veröffentlichtes, selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum ist nach wie vor ihr erfolgreichstes und erreichte in mehreren Ländern Platz eins. Die Leadsingle des Albums, "Heat Of The Moment", eine große Soft-Rock-Hymne, ist ihr bekanntester Song. Die Single erreichte die Top 40 in Dutzende Ländern und erreichte in den USA Platz 4 der Billboard Hot 100 und Platz 1 der Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts.
Diese 5-CD-Deluxe-Box enthält "The Reunion Albums" von der 2006 neu formierten klassischen Besetzung mit Leadsänger/Bassist John Wetton von King Crimson, Gitarrist Steve Howe von Yes, Keyboarder Geoff Downes von Yes und Schlagzeuger Carl Palmer von Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Enthalten sind Fantasia", eine Live-Show von ihrer Welttournee 2007 (mit Heat Of The Moment" live), und drei weitere Studioalben: Phoenix" (2008), Omega" (2010) und XXX" (2012) auf 5 CDs. Die Verpackung wurde von Roger Dean entworfen, der auch alle Originalcover der Alben gestaltet hat. Das Coverbild der Box ist ein bisher unbenutztes Cover, und das "Fantasia"-Cover ist ein aktualisiertes Design von Roger. Mehrere dieser Alben wurden noch nie wiederveröffentlicht.
